Ward is appointed as security partner at the award winning Paradise development in the heart of Birmingham

Ward is pleased to share that it has been appointed as security partner at Paradise Birmingham– a £1.2bn development in the very heart of the city. Paradise is one of the UK’s most important city centre developments and a bustling new destination for the city, attracting new businesses, jobs and over 17 million visitors a year.

The Estate offers a 24/7 environment that already combines new public squares, office space, cafés, bars, and restaurants, alongside Birmingham’s most celebrated listed buildings.

We will be providing security personnel services for the Paradise estate and the 300 space car park located at basement level underneath the development, together with the latest office building One Centenary Way. The team will be monitoring the car park access and egress, providing assistance to members of the public utilising the space, supporting the tenants and other security teams located within the various buildings, patrolling the estate to ensure that it is a safe and welcoming environment and helping support our client to create the best public use area in Birmingham.

Paul Harvey, Executive Director at Ward, comments, “We are delighted to have been selected as the risk and security partner for Paradise. This is a thriving part of Birmingham city centre, rich in heritage and charm, and a new destination for the city. We look forward to supporting a safe and secure environment, connecting people to each other and embracing new ways of working and living and growing our business in this exciting city”.

Craig Cousins, Senior Regional Manager, added, “We’re really looking forward to working with the estate team and being part of this fantastic development in Birmingham City Centre. This partnership is one based on the same vision and ethos, shared by us, the client, and the entire development team, and I’m so excited to be part of it”.
