For the last 15 years we have recognised and rewarded our people through the Star Awards initiative. Our Employee Star Awards have been created to recognise employee excellence, professionalism and commitment in the workplace.

Throughout the year, employees are nominated by clients, managers or members of the public in recognition of outstanding professionalism in the course of undertaking their day to day duties. The nominations are sent to the Star Awards panel for review. The panel meets regularly to review the nominations and shortlist the candidates who will potentially become finalists.

2023 Star Awards

Great achievements celebrated in style

The Star Awards 2023 took place on 9 March at Banking Hall, London. This year over 80 individuals were nominated across the categories of Service Excellence, Outstanding Acts, Team and Community Award, a fantastic recognition for the great work the team complete day in, day out.

We were delighted to be joined by colleagues, clients and friends to celebrate the fantastic people we have at Ward. We were also delighted to hear by one of our Charity partners, Dandelion Time, as well as hearing from some of Team Ward who in 2022 travelled to Poland to deliver humanitarian aid for refugees in Ukraine.

Simply provide an explanation of why you believe our employee deserves recognition and a Star Award. Remember to include the name of the person you want to nominate. All nominations are reviewed by our panel on a quarterly basis. The finalists are advised in November and invited to the next Employee Star Awards event where the winners are announced.
