About Us

Ward Security has been established since 2000 and for more than 20 years, we have been keeping organisations secure across the UK with our range of tailored, flexible and integrated security services. Today we are a leading national provider of security services, and it is our individuality that sets us apart.

We recognise that security is primarily about people, and as a company we put people first, be it our clients or our own teams. Because we are privately owned, with actively involved business owners, we maintain client intimacy as well as excellent client and staff retention. We work with a broad range of clients from blue chip companies to small businesses. No one client is more important than another, and our business structure means we are agile, flexible and always fast to respond.

We hold the highest regard for our 1000+ employees and treat them accordingly. By offering industry leading benefits and promoting top salaries and working conditions, we achieve very low staff turnover proving that we’re getting this right. Our people make us what we are, and we recognise the importance of them enjoying being part of the Ward team.

The care of both employees and clients is paramount. The cornerstones of delivering customer excellence and workplace wellbeing is part of the Ward make-up. We approach every client with creativity, striving to find the most appropriate security solutions for each business and situation. And as experts in the security sector, we offer support across all security disciplines - counterterrorism, risk assessment, mitigation, and management, through the delivery of risk exercises, consultancy and advice.

Expertise in our field is something we continue to build, and this starts at the top. Our management team has exceptional experience in high risk and high profile trophy assets, having protected some of the most prolific locations in the UK. This expertise is continually enhanced by providing security training through the Ward Training Academy enabling us to support employees at all levels in professional qualifications and continuous professional development.

Rest assured your business and employees are in safe hands with Ward. Not only are we listed in the top 15% of UK Approved Security Providers accredited by the Security Industry Authority, we are also listed in the top 30 UK Companies in the Regulated Security Sector.

Our company is founded on a culture of excellence that is shared by all. We invest in our people not because we have to, but because we want to. Ward strive to be the employer of choice within the industry, a commitment that is embedded throughout the business. Furthermore, our success impacts others and we are able to invest in the sustainability of our communities and work closely with many organisations to safeguard their futures.
