Team Ward support Living River Foundation with Medway River clean-up

Members of Team Ward donned lifejackets, hard hats, and Hi-Viz to spend the afternoon at Chatham Maritime Marina supporting the Living River Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation set up to monitor and raise awareness of the need to protect the Thames and Medway rivers from the impact of plastics and litter.

With an office based on the River Medway at the Historic Dockyard, Chatham, we were pleased to help such a worthy local cause. The afternoon involved removing the damaged litter boom for maintenance and repair, while collecting litter along the way.

The team had a great afternoon and look forward to hopefully returning in the coming weeks to continue helping with the repair and reinstallation process.

Thank you to Tanya and Richard for looking after and guiding us, and well done to Team Ward!
