Hi! Visibility Day

Ward recently participated in the second Hi! Visibility Day organised by the City Security Council.  in partnership with the City of London Police.

All 22 members of the City Security Council took part in a joint, hi-visibility patrolling strategy with the City of London Police as part of an ongoing initiative to deter potential building attacks and show an increased security presence.  Ward supported this with our general patrol dogs, explosive detection dogs and across our sites with security personnel.

Operations Director Debbie Lawmon commented: “I would like to thank all of the Ward team that supported the Hi! Visibility Day in the City.  Collaboration between the City of London Police and private security companies such as Ward can provide a tremendously effective deterrent and help to safeguard people and places.   The City Security Council members represent around 1,000 officers across more than 500 premises every day, and it is great to see the industry working in genuine partnership for the greater good”.
