TWO NEW OPERATIONS MANAGERS FOR WARD SECURITY

Ward Security is delighted to announce the appointment of David Grant and Kelly Thompson as Operations Managers in its growing London team.  David and Kelly will report into Regional Director, Debbie Lawmon and Director, Julian Roche at Ward Security.

David joins as an experienced Operations Manager with over five years of working within the Security and Investigations industry. His skill sets include direct operational management, emergency planning, transformational planning and physical security to include FOH, Logistics and Reprographics.   His experience include running the Operations Centre for his previous security company and looking after 5 Assistant Regional Managers, 1 night Operations Manager and 5 Controllers. The role included the management of 240 Relief Officers and circa 1,800 core staff. David has also acted as Contract Manager for Barking Power station. In the latter years David was responsible for managing a team of 174 staff on a £6.8m contract where he was responsible for 11 buildings, 10 Loading Bays over a 34 acre Estate. Duties included attending monthly KPI meetings and the production of the monthly reports

Kelly Thompson joins with over 20 years of management experience in Personnel, Compliance and Operations at both a local and corporate level. Kelly has a proven track record in leading and developing others, utilising exceptional communication skills and with a clear focus on creating and strengthening client confidence. The last six years was as Security and Events manager at Royal Hospital Chelsea which is a 66-acre site.  Prior to this role Kelly was the Events Security Manager at Westfield Stratford during the Olympics, looking after the pop-up spaces and Team GB House.
