Ward Awarded PLATINUM Standard In Kent And Medway Healthy Workplaces Programme

Ward Security have been awarded PLATINUM standard in the Kent and Medway Healthy Workplaces Programme.

Medway Council, who sponsor this initiative said: “This is a fantastic achievement and the assessors felt it was very well deserved.”

Workplace Health initiatives give employers the opportunity demonstrate their commitment to the health and well-being of their workforce. The Kent and Medway Healthy Workplaces programme, and Kent and Medway Workplace Wellbeing Award provides employers with an easy and clear guide on how to make workplaces a supportive and productive environment in which employees can flourish, whilst meeting standards of best practice

On reviewing the evidence submitted the assessors felt that Ward Security have demonstrated clear and continuous improvement of their health and wellbeing offer and have expanded this beyond their offices and depots to include customers and influencing businesses within their network. The assessors would like to recognise the efforts and achievements of Ward Security by awarding them the Kent and Medway Workplace Wellbeing Award – Platinum, becoming one of only a small number of businesses to achieve this accolade so far.

This is an excellent achievement, made even more rewarding when we consider most of those two years were under a Covid affected working environment.

Recognition & thanks for this accolade go to Ward’s Health and Safety Manager Kevin Tuffs, along with those who supported him from Ward’s People department, for compiling the evidence demonstrating a commitment to the health and wellbeing of our people.
