Ward Riders take on the WaterAid Dragon Boat Race

On Thursday 6th July, Team Ward accompanied by our clients Savills, CBRE, Ashdown Phillips, Knight Frank, Aga Khan Foundation and MAPP, formed the Ward Riders and took to the water at South Dock, Canary Wharf, for the chance to become Dragon Boat Race champions and to help raise money for WaterAid.

WaterAid is a fantastic charity that works to end the water, sanitation and hygiene crisis. Currently 771 million people around the world, 1 in 10 of us, don’t have clean water close to home – the donations raised will help WaterAid work with more communities to ensure people have a reliable supply of clean water and with it, the opportunity to thrive. You can find out more about WaterAid here.

We’re so proud to have raised £2,790* through the generous donations of colleagues, friends, clients and partners – ending in third position for fundraising (which we did get a trophy for). If you’d still like to donate, you can do so here.

It was a fantastic day filled with great teamwork the opportunity to meet new people, underpinned by the same goal. Although Ward Riders didn’t take the trophy, we’re so pleased we got to support this great cause!
