Ward invests in flexible working space to support growth in the Midlands

We’re delighted to share that we have invested in a flexible working space, located in the heart of Birmingham, supporting our continued growth and investment in the Midlands.

With two office locations – one in Chatham, Kent, and one in London – our growth across the Midlands uncovered the need for a local office space. Located within a five-minute walking distance of the New Street Station, this central location positions us within walking distance to several of our clients.

In addition to this, our Birmingham office space enables us to work more closely with our staff, offering them a workspace that best suits their needs. By opting for a flexible office space, we’re able to adapt quickly to our regional office requirements as needed.

Flexible working is an innovative way of working, an approach that enhances social value and cuts down on carbon emissions, compared to a traditional office setting. As a social value business, being located within Birmingham will enable us to better connect with the local community and where we can, add benefit.

The office building has achieved BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A. As we are conscious about our carbon footprint, this way of working enables us to grow our business, but also be more sustainable.

Dan Liddiard, Managing Director for Regions and Canine, comments, “This expansion is a reflection of our continued growth and investment to the Midlands area. There are many reasons why we chose a flexible office space, the main reason being it’s a far more sustainable way of working, and this is something that at Ward we hold of high importance.

We’re so proud to be able to strengthen the support we can give to our colleagues and clients, as well as allowing us to be more involved in our local social responsibility. It’s a great step for Ward”.
