Perenco Oil and Gas Places Trust in Ward at Corporate Headquarters in Mayfair
Europe’s leading independent oil and gas company Perenco has agreed a major new contract with Ward to supply and manage its security and front of house services for its London Headquarters in Mayfair, as well as ad-hoc requirements across the wider Perenco Property Portfolio.
Vince McCarthy, Security Team Leader at Perenco Oil and Gas Company commented: “We selected Ward Security to be our partner because, in short, first impressions last. Having known of Ward Security for several years and requiring their services at short notice on one occasion three years ago, we were pleased to find a company that could take our security team to the next level, covering a wide spectrum of security services that could answer all our security needs. Three years later, the management team have continued to show outstanding enthusiasm and professionalism during the mobilisation phase of this new contract, leading to a smooth transition and satisfying everyone at Perenco that we have made the right choice in trusting Ward Security to fulfil our requirements.”
Paul Harvey, Executive Director at Ward said “We are delighted to be awarded this prestigious new account with Perenco. We have built a strong presence and reputation in London as a trusted security provider and this is reflected in both the size and number of new contracts we have mobilised over the past 12 months, despite the exceedingly challenging market and operational conditions. We are very much looking forward to being a trusted partner of Perenco.”
Julian Roche, Ward’s Director of Strategic Development said “We have an excellent, experienced team in place, ready to work with Perenco and provide all its day-to-day security and risk management needs. We are also well placed to service many more new clients in London, particularly as lockdown eases and more businesses are looking for safe and secure ways to facilitate their employees returning to the office environment. We are fully capable and ready to help provide new covid-secure security arrangements as needed.”
