Ward provides life-saving ‘Revivr’ training for employees

Every year over 30,000 people have an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in the UK. Less than 1 in 10 survive.

Giving CPR promptly and using a defibrillator can more than double someone’s chance of survival.

Ward is providing employees with the chance to take part in the ‘Revivr’ training course. In just 15 minutes, you can learn how to save a life and receive your own CPR certificate. The interactive CPR training course was designed by the British Heart Foundation and has had over 300,000 participants already. The training includes four stages:

  • Learning to identify cardiac arrests
  • Simulating making 999 calls
  • Perfecting CPR techniques
  • Learning to use defibrillators

Being trained in CPR gives the confidence and skills to remain calm in medical emergencies and help people in need. We believe this is invaluable for our front line employees to be able to make a difference.
