Ward is proud to announce it has achieved the Diversity Champion Award and International Inclusion Award

Ward is proud to share the news that it has achieved the Diversity Champion Award and International Inclusion Award 2021 – 2022, awarded by Diversiton.

The dual Awards, which were introduced in 2013, recognise and promote business excellence and achievement in Inclusion and Diversity, whilst highlighting those businesses who actively recognise the diversity of their people and seek to promote inclusion in ways that benefit all employees, their clients and the wider community.

To be awarded, businesses need to demonstrate that they have specific initiatives already in place to promote diversity and inclusion. These initiatives must be appropriate and relevant to the business and its employees. These can include training programmes, equality and / or diversity policies, employee access to diversity resources or community projects.

Caroline Cuthbert, People Director at Ward comments: “We are extremely proud to celebrate our culture which instils our core People Pillar of Inclusivity and Diversity.

Our robust training programme for our leaders ensures everyone understands Inclusive Behaviour & Unconscious Bias and upholds the standards and behaviours we expect. Our focus is to ensure our people can have the freedom to be who they are and treated with respect and dignity is reflective in our people processes and policies on equality & diversity, disability, mental health and wellbeing, religious observance, transgender, LBTGQ+, menopause and age. Our INCLUDE Forum ambassadors ensure we create a space to talk honestly and openly about diversity and inclusion, and to support our people in every aspect of our diverse culture.”
