Ward celebrates excellence at the 2022 Star Awards
The 2022 Star Awards annual event took place on 4 May at Shakespeare’s Globe, London. The Star Awards are the pinnacle of Ward’s reward and recognition programme, celebrating success and excellence.
Throughout the year, Ward employees have the opportunity to be nominated by clients, managers, colleagues and members of the public in recognition of excellence, professionalism and commitment in their day-to-day duties.
This year, thirty-nine winners were selected across the categories of Service Excellence, Outstanding Acts, Team and Managing Director’s Award.
Over 160 people attended the event including winners, finalists, their partners, clients, colleagues, industry leaders, senior police officers and friends, sharing how Ward people go ‘above and beyond’. Over 60 employees were nominated to receive a Star Award.
We were also delighted to be joined by three of the charities that Ward work closely with across the country – Young Hackney, Dandelion Time and Forever Manchester. Each of the charities shared what they do and how Ward has a positive impact in enabling them to reach their goals. All three support the communities in which Ward operate, a key element of our sustainability agenda.
Kevin Ward comments: “I continue to be blown away by the team that we have here at Ward. Every single person goes above and beyond every day and it makes me so proud. We’ve been running this initiative for 15 years and every year the professionalism and commitment of Team Ward continues to amaze me. This year was no different.
At Ward, we put our people first, so being able to celebrate Team Ward amongst colleagues, clients, and friends is so special, and I just want to thank everyone who joined me at the Star Awards and a huge well done to our winners, finalists and nominees.”
