Ward boosts its EcoVadis rating

Ward is proud to share that it has progressed from a Committed badge to a Bronze medal with EcoVadis, further cementing its journey towards a more sustainable future.

Following a reassessment of our sustainability performance in early 2025, Ward has risen to the 74th percentile from 57th where we were last year. This means that our current sustainability rating is equal to or higher than 74% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis, whether security or otherwise.

More about EcoVadis
EcoVadis provides more than 150,000 businesses with sustainability ratings by evaluating how well a company has integrated the principles of sustainability into the way it operates.

An EcoVadis badge or medal is an acknowledgment of achievement relative to other assessed companies, with medals only awarded to the top 35%.

To secure a bronze medal, a company needs to achieve a percentile rank of 65 or above, and a minimum score of 30 in the following four themes:

  • Environment
  • Ethics
  • Labour and human rights
  • Sustainable procurement.

This is evaluated by comparing a company’s performance with all related companies in the database over the past 12 months. The percentile rank is calculated across all companies in all industries, not per industry. We look forward to continuing our progression in future assessments.

James Beiny, ESG Manager, comments, Achieving the Bronze medal is a significant step up on our previous Committed badge. It is a testament to the huge amount of work carried out over the last year to bolster the company’s environmental and social impact, from conducting a double materiality assessment to publishing a Supplier Charter to better understanding our scope 3 emissions. We should all be very proud of this achievement and the hard work that enabled it.”
