Aaron Page-Baldwin receives Security Officer of Distinction award at the ACS Pacesetters Event

Ward is delighted to announce that Aaron Page-Baldwin, a dog handler at Ward, received a ‘Security Officer of Distinction’ award at the ACS Pacesetters Annual Awards event. The event took place on 25 May 2022 at Windsor Racecourse, Berkshire.

The awards are an opportunity to reward and recognise front-line Security Officers that have gone above and beyond in their duties during the past year. Over 100 nominations were submitted, with 12 awards being presented.

Aaron was recognised for his quick actions with his patrol dog Chase to protect property and the public when demonstrators started forcing entry into a major shopping centre in West London. Aaron’s actions and deployment of Chase were highly commended by Centre Senior Management, the Local Police Ground Commander and the Police Gold Commander in charge of the demonstration. Aaron showed extremely high levels of professionalism in this very testing situation.

Ward was also presented with a company award for being an ACS Pacesetters member and for maintaining high standards.
