We are currently recruiting for a Night Duty Manager who will need all of these qualities and more to really advance in this role and make it their own, while ensuring all business needs are met.

What is the role?

Reporting to the National Operations Centre Manager, the Duty Manager’s  role will be to carry out daily tasks specifically set out by the management. The Duty Manager should always be aware of the ever changing security environment and should take steps to make themselves coherent with new/updated procedures and processes.

National Operations Centre is a service provider of Control Centre facilities, currently providing the following services:

•  Contact Centre for front line security staff, emergency services, alarm monitoring stations, and
existing or potential clients requiring reactive services.
•  Client Helpdesk.
•  Remote CCTV Monitoring Station 

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Drive the collaborative working environment between the NOC and Operational functions of the
    business
  • Work to agreed internal KPIs to deliver excellence in service standards out of hour
  • Maintain adherence to all client KPI service agreements out of hours
  • Assist the NOC Manager in reviewing new processes and updating current procedures
  • Manage the implementation of all company operating systems in and out of the NOC
  • Manage and grow the relationship between service partners & suppliers to ensure consistent service
    deliverables to our clients
  • Adhere to requested deadlines
  • Liaising with Mobile Supervisors to ensure all Response obligations are undertaken within shifts
  • Proactively manage, retain, and develop, long term relationships within client accounts and
    recognising opportunities for business development    
  • Maintain adherence to all client KPI service agreements out of hours 
  • Demonstrable track record of leading and managing teams to a Management Level 3 Qualification or equivalent

What experience, skills and experience do I need? 

  • Knowledge of the Security industry
  • Proven management experience within a Contact or Control Centre environment
  • Possesses a deep understanding of the business objectives and processes that determine success.
  •  Friendly presence and helpful attitude; excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to Manage a team as
    well as working alone when required. 
  • Proven track record of identifying new business opportunities and upselling business offer to current
    clients and suppliers.
  • Excellent telephone skills. Previous customer service experience strongly desired
  • Previous experience in both Staff investigation and disciplinary/grievance processes, managing
    absence, capability and ensuring team wellbeing, with an understanding of Equality, Diversity and
    Inclusion.
  • Business acumen – entrepreneurial skills- experience of managing client and customer relationships. 
  • Maintain adherence to all client KPI service agreements out of hours
