What is the role?

Security Supervisor – Frontline SIA License and CCTV required – no applications will be considered unless you hold a valid SIA License, and have a valid driving licence with access to your own vehicle.  All roles are subject vetting to a 5 year checkable history

  1. Job Purpose
  • Meet & greet all clients, suppliers and internal staff courteously and efficiently.
  • Ensure reception desk, are always clean, tidy and ready for use.
  • Report faults and repairs to help desk for timely remedial action.
  • Liaise with maintenance, technical/room bookings department and cleaning to ensure the overall service is timely and seamless.
  • Answer telephone calls within 3 rings, scan, print, and deliver messages and faxes to meetings as required.
  • Ensure personal presentation and grooming is of a high standard. Ensure your uniform is regularly cleaned and pressed.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks and duties requested by line management and client
  • Ensure Health & Safety and Evacuation procedures are adhered to and attend Fire Warden Training.
  • Check for emails from the tenants and contractors, action accordingly and reply to the emails.
  • Full building patrols need to be conducted every day (morning and afternoon)
  • Check all the floors (common areas) for H&S Issues. Check all the toilets on each floor for any leaks and if there are leaks in the toilets take necessary steps and inform accordingly.
  • If there are any other problems regarding maintenance of the building (light/door/damage to fabric) take necessary action to mitigate the issue and then inform accordingly.
  • Post will arrive during midday, sort the post and deliver to each floor. Return any post that the company is no longer here.
  • Key management – signing out and signing in keys. Check that all the keys are return before the end of the shift.
  • Program and provide the access card based on the privilege area and issue it upon request by tenants and contractor. And update it into the database.
  • Respond to fire alarm activation’s and help conduct fire alarm test and fire evaluation test.
  • Meet and greet everyone who comes into the building and direct to the floor after confirming with the tenants. If necessary, issue access pass upon tenants request and update it into the database.
  • Update CCTV TDD Audit (weekly)
  • Control room access log updating
  • Keep records of Contractor visit for maintenance – check the work permit and RAMS if required.
  • Any other duties that the Company may request from time to time that have not been included in the above.
  • To take reasonable care for the Health & Safety of yourself and of other persons who may be affected of your actions in accordance with Section 7 of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
  • To fully co-operate and commitment of the Company Environmental Policy to ensure and adhere to:
  • complying with company and client procedures, arrangements and instructions
  • remaining aware that their own acts and omissions can have an impact on the environment and taking all reasonable measures to prevent or minimise any such impact
  • promoting and maintaining high standards of housekeeping

  1. Knowledge, Skills and Experience required
  • Previous experience in security/ building supervision
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, with professional telephone manner
  • Competent user of Outlook and basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills especially in dealing with under pressure situations and manage unreasonable demands.
  • Able to adapt to different priorities quickly and maintain good attention to detail to ensure image and standards are maintained.
