What is the role?

C4R is a service provider that has been re-launched to include a Development department that will deliver an efficient turnaround of costed solutions to both current and new customers. The Head of Development is pivotable to ensuring C4R profitable growth is achieved but will rely on the Sales Advisor to provide significant opportunity closure.

Where there is a requirement to provide Security Solutions from either existing or new clients the Sales Advisor will work with the NOC, Response, Technical Departments, and where appropriate Regional Manned Guarding to ensure a value for money solution is deployed. Focusing on systems that return increased profitability, the Sales Advisor will work closely with the Head of Development building relationships with Clients understanding their requirements and co-ordinating a solution across C4R Departments.

The Sales Advisor under direction from the Head of Development will fully cost all solutions, be the first point of contact for the business. All external enquires to Ward will be routed to the Development Department for assessment providing efficient and rapid responses to all enquires.

 

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Engage with existing and potential customers to present our product and service offerings, customer service orientated
  • Keep up to date with Ward products and services and the marketplace, work closely with the Technical Department
  • Build excellent relationships with current and potential Clients, trusted advisor on Security Solutions
  • Establish Client rapport ensuring that their business and ongoing requirements are fully understood
  • Work closely with Heads of Department within C4R to ensure quick turnaround of opportunities and requirements exceeding KPI expectations
  • Gain knowledge of services and build relationships with Ward Regional & Operations Managers
  • Ensure Client details are always up to date on the chosen CRM, currently Salesforce
  • Similarly track & document all Sales & Enquiries, ensure pricing process & sign-off process is followed (CIS)
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Assist the Head of Development with Sales presentations, develop a library of Solutions material
  • Work with the Head of Development to ensure the C4R Service Catalogue is up to date and relevant
  • Provide appropriate Management Reports, typically from the CRM (currently Salesforce), daily calls, weekly schedule, monthly and annual territory analysis.
  • Prospecting skills, ability to cold call based on an agreed sales campaign
  • Engage with the Marketplace via Social Media, assist Head of Development with relevant posts
  • Where appropriate work with the Head of Development to provide input into Commercial Tenders

What experience, skills and and experience do I need?

  • Knowledge of the Security industry preferred
  • 3 years of experience as Telesales Representative or similar Client Service or Sales role
  • Experience of working towards and achieving Sales targets, proven record of quota achievement
  • Good numerate skills, ability to provide quotes with appropriate margins & overheads
  • Strong ability to close opportunities to the Clients satisfaction
  • Outstanding Client communications skills, internal & external
  • Problem-solving skills: ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to resolve
  • Working knowledge of Sales/CRM software applications, highly desirable especially Salesforce
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages and Administration skills
