Company Structure and Areas of Operation
Ward Security Limited, which supplies our Security Guarding Services, and Ward Security (Response) Limited, which supplies our Response and Canine Services, are wholly owned subsidiaries of Ward Security Holdings Limited. Each subsidiary is owned, directed and supported by the same staff and work together to provide a complete security provision under one umbrella using the trading name "Ward Security." On this website the term "The Company" refers to Ward Security Holdings Limited including both subsidiaries. The term "Ward Security" can refer to either one specialist side of the business or both subsidiaries working in tandem.
The company has a robust management structure led by brothers David and Kevin Ward, who are also outright Company owners. Between them they have the responsibility of identifying, developing and directing the implementation of business strategy for the company.
The business is broken down into five areas of expertise headed up by four Associate Directors. These areas are Human Resources, Finance, Operations, Response and Compliance. As the head of their section the Associate Directors manage and monitor the performance of their respective teams to successfully achieve both internal and external performance targets. Empowered by the board to make executive decisions there is no need for protracted discussions to resolve any issues of concern for either the client or the security officer.
The Operations team is further broken down into five areas, four of these are geographic; South East, London, West and the Midlands. There are regional offices in the South and London. with others due to open. Each of the four regions has its own locally based Operations Manager who looks after the day to day management of both the clients and security officers, with support from the Head Office team and our 24 hour contact centre.
The fifth area of operation is our specialist service section, Ward Security Response, which comprises of our Canine Services (Narcotics, Explosives and Weapons Search Dogs or General Dog Patrol) and our
Key Holding Services (Alarm Response, Mobile Patrols and Building Inspections.) Although we have a strong presence in the South, London and the Midlands, we are equally capable of providing cover throughout the UK by utilising the services of key business partners who meet our own strict standards of accreditation.
